Usually, yes. Custom quizzes used to cost $10,000 or more to write and build, plus a monthly quiz app to keep them live. A self-hosted quiz is a one-time build with no monthly quiz subscription, and your results pages live on your own domain.
A quiz app hosts your quiz on its platform for a monthly fee, often with lead limits. A self-hosted quiz lives on your own website, so there’s no monthly quiz fee, no lead caps, and you own it. I build both, so I’ll tell you which fits your business.
You need a quiz idea at minimum. If you already have your questions, results and email copy, I design, build, connect and test everything. If you need it written, I can connect you with quiz writers I trust, or I’ll write it for you. Writing is priced separately, on top of the build.
